4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers second baseman Jace Peterson is hitting leadoff for the first time this season in Tuesday's game against the Cincinnati Reds. Peterson will be the tenth different hitter to leadoff for the Brewers this year. Avisail Garcia has been the team's most frequent leadoff hitter, with 22 starts at the top of the lineup. Peterson hit a home run and a double in Tuesday's game, but is slashing just .211/.392/.395 on the year. Garcia is getting the day off on Tuesday, so it likely won't be a regular thing to see Peterson in the leadoff spot going forward.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
