Jace Jung Begins Rehab Assignment
5 months agoDetroit Tigers second base prospect Jace Jung (wrist) began his rehab assignment at Single-A Lakeland on Monday. Jung went 0-for-1 with a pair of walks in the contest. The Tigers No. 3 prospect and 42nd overall ranked prospect, per MLB Pipeline has been sidelined since June 20 with right wrist soreness. Jung will return to Triple-A Toledo when he is completes his rehab assignment. For Toledo this season, Jung has hit .270 with 11 home runs and 41 RBI. The Tigers offense has struggled for the most part this season and it wouldn't be a surprise to see Jung make his big-league debut this summer. He should be rostered in dynasty leagues and would be worth a flier in redraft leagues, if he were to get promoted.
