J.T. Realmuto Returns Tuesday Night For The Phillies
1 year agoPhiladelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto is back in the starting lineup for Tuesday night's contest against the Baltimore Orioles and right-hander Kyle Gibson. Realmuto didn't start Monday night's loss but did draw a pinch-hitting walk in that one. The veteran backstop has bounced back from a slow start to produce what has amounted to league-average production this season. Realmuto is hitting .244 with a .761 OPS, .323 wOBA, and a 100 wRC+ which tells us his bat has been exactly league average overall. However, fantasy managers should be satisfied with his 12 home runs and 12 stolen bases on the season, the latter of which is easily the most among big-league catchers, seven more than the Cardinals' Willson Contreras.
