J.T. Realmuto Back In, Martin Prado Batting Fifth
6 years agoAfter the Miami Marlins activated Martin Prado (hamstring) from the disabled list, the veteran third baseman will bat fifth on Thursday. That said, there are much better options for daily fantasy players at the hot corner out there. A much better option, albeit behind the plate, is catcher J.T. Realmuto, who returns to the lineup after a day off on July 4. The catcher has All-Star numbers this season and should be started in all formats. Miguel Rojas will start at second for the Fish, while veteran Cameron Maybin will get the start in center field. Starlin Castro and Yadiel Rivera will sit for the matchup against Jeremy Hellickson and the Washington Nationals. Hellickson has pitched very well for the Nationals this season but barely lasted four innings his last outing against the Philadelphia Phillies -- his first game back from the disabled list. That said, only Realmuto is an automatic start for DFS players looking at the Marlins lineup on Thursday.
