J.P. Crawford Picks Up First RBI In Two Months
6 years agoAfter missing the entirety of May following a right forearm strain, Philadelphia Phillies shortstop J.P. Crawford has been struggling to get back into form at the plate since his return. The 23-year-old started at shortstop for the Phillies against the Colorado Rockies in a Thursday matinee. Crawford would draw a walk, scoring two runs and driving one in himself with an eighth-inning triple that scored catcher Andrew Knapp. The RBI was his first since April 19 against the Pittsburgh Pirates. With Scott Kingery playing better as of late, Crawford will need more performances like Thursday’s to see consistent playing time.
