J.D. Martinez Joins 300-Home Run Club Tuesday
1 year agoLos Angeles Dodgers designated hitter J.D. Martinez had a historic evening in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Rockies. The veteran went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a solo HR, the latter being the 300th of his career. Martinez is the 156th player in Major League history to achieve this feat. He has had a solid season overall, slashing .258/.304/.579 with 18 HR and 51 RBI. While he is only eligible for a utility spot, Martinez is well worth the roster spot in all fantasy leagues.
