5 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder J.D. Martinez (back) is dealing with a sore back on top of his illness this week. There's a chance he might not play on Thursday. Martinez has been out since Sunday, and fantasy owners might have to start preparing for a possible trip to the injured list if his back doesn't improve soon. The power hasn't been that great so far this year, but Martinez is still one of the best hitters in the big leagues and is slashing .308/.390/.521 with nine long balls, 28 runs and 29 RBI on the year.
