J.A. Happ Surrenders One Run In Twins Debut
4 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher J.A. Happ had a so-so outing in his debut in Tuesday's loss to the Tigers. Happ pitched four innings, allowing one run on three hits while walking three and striking out four. The veteran southpaw had some issues finding the strike zone, as evidenced by his 55 strikes compared to 34 balls, though he did well to limit the damage. Considering Happ's late start to the spring, the results weren't too bad. He'll look to go further into the game in his next outing on April 12 against a familiar foe, the Red Sox. Happ should be on the streaming radar, as he owns a 13-4 record and a 2.79 ERA in 154.2 career innings against the Red Sox
