J.A. Happ Has Worst Outing With Yankees
6 years agoSince being acquired from the Toronto Blue Jays last month, New York Yankees starter J.A. Happ has been incredibly reliable, winning each of his first five starts with the club. On Thursday, however, his streak would end as he was pounded by the Detroit Tigers. Eventually taking a no-decision, the 35-year-old surrendered five runs on 10 hits, giving up multiple leads that his offense had provided him. While this could simply be a blip on the radar, Happ's confidence surely took a hit as his ERA rose to 4.00 on the season.
