5 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Ito Smith should see a lot of playing time this year as the primary backup to Devonta Freeman. Expect him to get about five carries and two or three targets this week. In a tough matchup on the road against the Vikings, it's hard to rely on too much production from that kind of a workload. Smith's a great handcuff to Freeman and he could have some sneaky value in matchups against weak opponents where the Falcons run up the score and let Freeman rest on the bench. However, this week's game shouldn't present a situation like that as the Vikings will likely give the Falcons all they can handle.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
