Ito Smith Not A Starting Option In Week 3
5 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Ito Smith has shown some positive signs through two games this season. He's carried the ball ten times for 63 yards, good for 6.3 yards per carry, which is far superior than the average of Falcons lead running back Devonta Freeman, who is averaging just 2.2 yards per carry. Still, it's hard to imagine the Falcons getting away from Freeman after just two games. Freeman has carried the ball about twice as much as Smith so far this year and that should continue in Week 3 against the Colts. Smith is a good stash in deep leagues, especially for Freeman owners, but he should remain on benches until further notice.
