3 months agoIsrael Adesanya suffered a fourth-round submission loss to Dricus Du Plessis in the main event of UFC 305. Adesanya was looking to reclaim his middleweight title and after an even first round, he struggled in the second round as he was taken down three times. However, Adesanya started to find his range and had plenty of success in the third round and the beginning of the fourth. However, Adesanya got rocked and fell to the ground as Du Plessis got ahold of his back and sunk in a submission to force Adesanya to tap. With the loss, Adesanya is now on a two-fight losing skid and is 1-3 in his last four.--Cole Shelton
