Isiah Pacheco Could Start Training Camp On PUP List

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said that the team will soon make a decision on whether running back Isiah Pacheco (hand) will begin training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list. It basically means that Pacheco might not be ready to practice when training camp kicks off soon, but the 24-year-old could still be ready for the Week 1 season opener. Pacheco is coming off surgeries for a broken hand and torn labrum. When healthy, he figures to be KC's top running back after earning a starting role as a seventh-round rookie in 2022. Pacheco is unlikely to catch enough passes, though, with Jerick McKinnon around to be much more than an RB3/flex for fantasy purposes in his sophomore season.
