Isiah Kiner-Falefa Gets Day Off On Friday
3 years agoTexas Rangers shortstop Isiah Kiner-Falefa got the day off on Friday after playing in 81 games so far this season. The 26-year-old cooled off a bit in June after hitting .311/.351/.453 in May, but he is also having the best season of his career to date, recording 90 hits with six home runs and 28 RBI. Even with the dip in production last month, Kiner-Falefa remains a top utility player in fantasy leagues, and it's possible that getting a day off will do him some good. Charlie Culberson is starting at shortstop and is hitting ninth against Seattle Mariners right-hander Logan Gilbert. Culberson will be a low-upside DFS dart throw while hitting ninth. He's batting .233 (34-for-146) with just three home runs and 15 RBI on the season.
