8 months agoFresh off his third victory of the season, William Byron qualified sixth for Sunday's Auto Trader EchoPark Automotive 400 at Texas Motor Speedway. Based on Byron's success in the first eight races of the season, he has to be considered among the top drivers in DFS each week. When you combine his hot start to the season with the success he has had at this track, he goes from being a top driver to one of the core plays on this week's slate. In his two Cup starts in the Next Gen Car at this speedway, the 26-year-old has a victory, a seventh-place finish, two appearances in the DraftKings optimal lineup, and an average DraftKings score of 59.58 points (second most in the Cup Series). Likewise, on tracks with banking 20 degrees or higher, like we see at Texas Motor Speedway, the Hendrick Motorsports star has appeared in the DraftKings optimal lineup in six of the last 12 races, which is the highest in the Cup Series.
