The Cleveland Indians selected Mira Costa High School outfielder Petey Halpin with the 95th overall pick in the third round in the 2020 MLB draft on Thursday. The Tribe continued with Santa Margarita High School shortstop Milan Tolentino in the fourth round and Vanderbilt pitcher Mason Hickman in the fifth round. Halpin has impressive tools -- speed, a strong arm and an impressive left-handed bat -- and might be underestimated by some scouts because of his size (6-foot, 180 pounds). Tolentino has the chance to develop more extra-base pop and contribute regularly at shortstop in the big leagues while hitting from the left side. Hickman is a 6-foot-6 righty that lives at the top of the strike zone and has good deception in his delivery. He has a good feel for pitching, including his breaking stuff, and pounds the strike zone consistently.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
