New York Islanders goaltender Ilya Sorokin has been in impressive form in his first few starts of the season. He owns a losing record at 1-1-1 but has registered a 1.34 goals-against average with a .947 save percentage. Due to offseason back surgery, Sorokin's season debut was delayed until Oct. 14. He put together a big performance right away, limiting Colorado's hot offense to only two goals in a 6-2 win. Sorokin has suffered back-to-back defeats since then, but he's allowed just two total goals in games versus St. Louis and Detroit, with the Islanders being shut out in both matchups. Once the Islanders start scoring again, Sorokin should begin to deliver wins regularly for fantasy managers.--Taavi Pailk
