4 months agoNew England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry caught five of his eight targets for 44 yards during Sunday's Week 12 loss to the Miami Dolphins. The 29-year-old has been a viable TE1 in fantasy football ever since Drake Maye took over as the team's starting quarterback. Over his last seven games, Henry has totaled 35 catches, 355 yards, and one touchdown, ranking as the overall TE8 (PPR) during that span. The veteran tight end has established himself as a reliable target for Maye and should continue to be treated as a mid-to-low TE1 in most fantasy football leagues, including next week against the Indianapolis Colts.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller

3 months agoNew England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry (foot) was a limited participant in practice all week and is listed as questionable to play in the Week 18 regular-season finale against the division-rival Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Henry will enter the final week of the regular season as a shaky fantasy TE on the TE1/2 borderline. Aside from his injury, the Patriots and Bills have nothing on the line on Sunday besides draft positioning, so there's a chance that Henry doesn't see the field all that much if he's active. If he's ruled out on Sunday morning, Austin Hooper would be a TE sleeper in DFS lineups. Henry has been a low-ceiling, low-floor fantasy TE in 2024 in the low-scoring Patriots offense with rookie quarterback Drake Maye leading the show. He currently ranks as the TE19 in half-PPR points per game (5.0) with 66 catches for 674 yards and only two touchdowns in 16 games played.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

3 months agoAccording to the team, New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry (foot) remained a limited participant during Thursday's practice. Fantasy managers should keep a close eye on his status during Friday's practice as he could carry a questionable tag if he cannot upgrade to full participation. Last weekend, the veteran tight end had a disappointing showing as he could not bring in any of his two targets. This was the first time all season he was held without a reception. However, during Weeks 11 through 16, Henry caught 5.2 passes per game while tallying 49.2 yards per game. If Henry can turn the corner in time for Sunday's game, he should be viewed as a low-end TE1 in PPR formats facing a Buffalo Bills defense that has allowed the 16th-most PPR points to opposing tight ends.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

3 months agoNew England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry (foot) logged a limited session in the team's first practice of the week. Henry hurt his foot in Week 17's blowout loss -- a 40-7 rout against his former team, the Los Angeles Chargers. He commanded just two targets and participated in only 30 snaps in the loss. Both figures are season-lows, and it was the first outing he did not record a catch all year. That he could at least practice in a limited capacity is a boon to his outlook for Week 18. However, seeing him elevate his practice status over the next few days would be good. The Patriots will host the visiting Buffalo Bills in a divisional clash this Sunday. As the game is meaningless for both squads, it's possible that if the veteran TE is closer to the wrong side of questionable, he's rested anyway. Keep an eye on him as the week closes out.--Alex Ciulla

3 months agoNew England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry remains a reliable fantasy option heading into Saturday's Week 17 matchup against his old team, the Los Angeles Chargers. Henry has been quite productive in his age-30 season, ranking as the overall TE9 ever since Drake Maye took over as the starting quarterback in Week 6. Even as he shares some opportunities with Austin Hooper, Henry has remained a startable tight end in most fantasy leagues. That trend should continue this week as he's coming off an impressive four-catch, 39-yard, and one-touchdown showing against the Buffalo Bills. Henry ranks as a low-end TE1 for this week's revenge game, despite Los Angeles surrendering the fourth-fewest fantasy points to opposing tight ends.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller
