Humberto Mejia Struggles Again In Sunday's Start
4 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Humberto Mejia struggled again in Sunday's start, lasting just 3 2/3 innings while allowing four runs (two earned) on seven hits and two walks. He struck out four in the outing. Mejia has shown some promise, but he has also shown that he needs more development time before he can become a consistent big league contributor. After the game, Marlins manager Don Mattingly admitted that Mejia may end up getting another start based on the team's rotation needs.
