Humberto Castellanos To Start Sunday

Arizona Diamondbacks right-hander Humberto Castellanos will start on Sunday against the New York Mets. Caleb Smith, who started in the same rotation spot to begin the season, will pitch out of the bullpen. Manager Torey Lovullo said it could change the next time through the rotation, so it's a fluid spot for now. Castellanos allowed two runs in three relief innings in his first two appearances, so he'll merely be serving as an opener and will have very little DFS appeal. In 14 appearances (seven starts) for the D-backs last year, he had a 4.93 ERA and 1.38 WHIP with 29 strikeouts in 45 2/3 innings. Smith wasn't sharp in his season debut last week against the San Diego Padres, allowing four earned runs and two home runs in just one inning of work. He, too, should be ignored in fantasy on Sunday.
