6 years agoIn preparation for their doubleheader on Monday against the New York Mets, the Philadelphia Phillies recalled relief pitcher Hoby Milner from Triple-A. They also appointed pitcher Jake Thompson as their “26th man” for the doubleheader. Both Milner and Thompson have struggled during their brief stints in the majors, so this is probably pure depth move by the Phillies. Neither pitcher should be owned in standard formats at this point.--Mauricio Castillo
