After that, the PGA Championship saw Matsuyama drop to 29th. Then, the US Open, where there needed to be a little more scrambling. He blew up on Sunday shooting a 75 on a day where 70 or better The putter has been average ranking 112th on tour. He does scramble well from close and his 55% sand save rate ranks 30th overall. Matsuyama will need patience and those shots this weekend.
