Heliot Ramos Placed On Injured List
6 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Heliot Ramos (knee) has been placed on the injured list at High-A San Jose after suffering a knee injury during a swing two nights ago. Ramos, the team's No. 2 prospect and No. 87 overall per MLB Pipeline, was hitting .270/.422/.587 with five doubles, five home runs and 14 walks in 19 games to begin the year. He was second in the California League with a 1.009 OPS. San Fran's top two prospects, catcher Joey Bart and Ramos, are now injured in the minors. Ramos could rise rapidly through the system and has a chance to be a starter in the big leagues in a few seasons. Keep an eye on him in dynasty/keeper leagues.
