Hector Velazquez Expected To Start Game 2
6 years agoBoston Red Sox manager Alex Cora said that it's his intent to start pitcher Hector Velazquez in Game 2 against the Orioles on Saturday. However, he could pitch in Game 1 in relief if he's needed. Velazquez has been solid for the Red Sox, mostly in relief, with a 2.64 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 36 strikeouts in 58 innings. He's made only three starts, though, with his first two coming way back in April. Even in a great matchup, Velazquez would be a poor streamer if he gets the nod.
