Hayden Hurst Has Signed A Four-Year Contract
6 years agoThe Baltimore Ravens have signed their first-round rookie tight end, Hayden Hurst, to a four-year contract. Given the relative weakness of the production of tight ends for the Ravens in 2017, expect Hurst to get plenty of looks in training camp. If he can win a role, expect quarterback Joe Flacco to use him as a safety valve who also helps to keep the second-level defenders from being able to collapse on the running game. Hurst will also get a chance to form chemistry from the very start with fellow first-round pick Lamar Jackson, who is likely the future QB of the team.
