Hayden Hurst Could Be Immediate Contributor
6 years agoBaltimore Ravens rookie tight ends Hayden Hurst and Mark Andrews are often featured together in packages with the starting offense, and their size and outside ability can create matchup problems. Hurst has made several big plays and diving catches during joint practices with the Rams this week, and he could contribute immediately if he can avoid nagging injuries. "He's really made a huge jump," offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg said of Hurst, "both in-line and with his route running." Hurst is old for a rookie at 25, but he could be an excellent safety blanket and red-zone target for quarterback Joe Flacco right away. He's worth a late-round pick in deeper leagues and is an excellent dynasty/keeper selection.
