18 seconds agoKansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said that kicker Harrison Butker (knee) injured his left knee in practice this week and underwent surgery on Friday morning. Reid did not have an official timeline for Butker's return yet, but the club placed him on Injured Reserve, meaning he'll have to miss at least the next four games. The earliest Butker will be able to return will be on Dec. 15 against the Cleveland Browns in Week 15. The 29-year-old veteran had a repair of his meniscus. If fantasy managers have the room on IR, they could consider stashing Butker, as he could be back for the first week of the fantasy playoffs in most leagues. In the meantime, the Chiefs will roll with rookie undrafted kicker Spencer Shrader, who they signed off the New York Jets' practice squad this week.
