Harrison Barnes Could Miss Season Opener
6 years agoDallas Mavericks forward Harrison Barnes (hamstring) could miss the season opener while he continues nursing a hamstring issue. Barnes will need to get significant practice in this week if he wants to be ready by the opener, according to head coach Rick Carlisle. There have been no updates about Barnes, so it's safe to assume that he's not ready to practice. Dorian Finney-Smith could end up starting a few games to begin the regular season. It all depends on how Barnes is feeling after this week.

Kevin Huerter And Harrison Barnes Expected To Be Available On Trade Market
9 months agoSacramento Kings duo Kevin Huerter and Harrison Barnes are reportedly available on the trade market, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype. Both players had disappointing campaigns in 2023-24, and it looks like the Kings will try to shake up the roster after failing to qualify for the playoffs. Barnes could be moving on just 12 months after signing a three-year, $54 million extension with the Kings. The 32-year-old has been a one-dimensional player throughout his career but has performed well in suitable situations. Huerter has proven himself to be a solid starter and could definitely do a good job for a number of teams if he isn't wanted in Sacramento anymore.

Harrison Barnes Scores Season-High 39 Points On Thursday
1 year agoSacramento Kings forward Harrison Barnes set a season-high on Thursday against his former team, the Golden State Warriors, scoring 39 points in the team's 134-133 road win. Barnes drained seven threes en route to his third 30-point game of the season, tying the second-most he's ever made in a game. The veteran forward has experienced significant performance swings, having back-to-back 30-point games, but he only scored more than 10 points once in the six games before that. The 31-year-old is averaging 12 points per game in 29 minutes this year, and he'll look to continue his hot streak on Saturday against the Mavericks.

Harrison Barnes Signs Three-Year Extension
2 years agoSacramento Kings forward Harrison Barnes has signed a three-year, $54 million contract extension with the organization. The two sides have been reportedly discussing a new deal and they finally come to terms before letting things play out in free agency. The veteran wing appeared in all 82 games for the Kings last season. He averaged 15.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists in 32.5 minutes per game. Barnes was still able to carve out a decent role for himself despite being the third option behind De'Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis. His fantasy value isn't elite as he finished 11th-round value in 9-cat formats last season. He should have similar production next season depending on what the Kings do this offseason.
