Harrison Bader Progressing In His Recovery
2 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Harrison Bader (oblique) has been progressing in his recovery from a left oblique strain and is swinging in a pool. According to Yankees manager Aaron Boone, Bader could begin swinging in a cage and re-introduce a throwing program within the week. The 28-year-old is on the 10-day injured list after straining his oblique on March 10. He is likely multiple weeks away from returning to action. When he returns, Bader is expected to be the Yankees starting center fielder. Aaron Judge and Isiah Kiner-Falefa will handle center-field duties while Bader is sidelined. Fantasy managers with an open IL spot should continue to stash Bader for now.
