2 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Ha-Seong Kim will bat leadoff in Game 3 of the NLCS against lefty Ranger Suarez and the Philadelphia Phillies. It appears the Phillies like Kim hitting leadoff against lefties instead of Jurickson Profar, who has been at the top of the order against righties. The two will switch spots in the batting order for tonight's game, and will likely split the leadoff role moving forward. Kim hasn't done much to prove himself this postseason, going 6-for-32 with no homers, one RBI, and one stolen base. Still, he did enough during the season to earn the trust of manager Bob Melvin.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
