Greg Bird Moving Slowly
New York Yankees first baseman Greg Bird (foot) still isn't doing any baseball activities, and manager Aaron Boone said "it's going slow." "He’s rehabbing, making some progress. I know he’s been on the (treadmill), but not ready to start doing baseball stuff yet," Boone said. Bird is dealing with a plantar fascia tear in his left foot and won't return anytime soon. He continues to be a disappointment for the Yankees and doesn't need to be owned in fantasy leagues. Luke Voit will continue to function as the starter at first base for the Bombers.
