6 years agoNew York Yankees first baseman Greg Bird (foot) still isn't doing any baseball activities, and manager Aaron Boone said "it's going slow." "He’s rehabbing, making some progress. I know he’s been on the (treadmill), but not ready to start doing baseball stuff yet," Boone said. Bird is dealing with a plantar fascia tear in his left foot and won't return anytime soon. He continues to be a disappointment for the Yankees and doesn't need to be owned in fantasy leagues.
