Goran Dragic Plays Poorly In Win
7 years agoMiami Heat point guard Goran Dragic had a night to forget against the Charlotte Hornets Saturday night. Dragic, in his second game since returning from a knee injury, only shot 2-for-8 from the field and 1-for-4 from the free throw line to finish with a measly five points, four assists, one rebound and two turnovers in 23 minutes. The minutes total marked his lowest minutes played in the past month, while his negative-24 plus/minus rating was a team worst. This was arguably one of Dragic's worst performances of the season, and head coach Erik Spoelstra has shown he will bench his stars when they are not performing. Dragic will look to bounce back Monday night when they face the Dallas Mavericks, who post the 10th worst overall defensive rating. However, they allow the least amount of assists to opposing point guards.

Bulls Are Waiving Goran Dragic
2 years agoChicago Bulls guard Goran Dragic is reportedly getting waived on Tuesday while he wasn't traveling with the team on their current road trip due to a knee injury. Dragic was rumored to be on the trading block and the next to be waived for a while now, so this news doesn't come as a huge surprise. His minutes were already diminishing and the addition of Patrick Beverley took even more opportunities away from Dragic even if he was healthy. There hasn't been any talk of any teams targeting the 36-year-old now that he's available.

Goran Dragic Won't Travel With Team
2 years agoChicago Bulls guard Goran Dragic (knee) won't travel with the team for the upcoming road trip, according to head coach Billy Donovan. The veteran guard has missed the last four games due to left knee soreness. It appears he's going to miss even more time due to this injury. The Bulls don't exactly need Dragic right now due to the addition of Patrick Beverley. Ayo Dosunmu, Coby White, and Beverley will take over the point guard duties while Dragic is out. Even when healthy, Dragic won't have a big enough role to warrant rostering in most fantasy formats.

Goran Dragic Sitting Out Again On Sunday
2 years agoChicago Bulls guard Goran Dragic (knee) is out again on Sunday versus Washington. The veteran will now miss his fourth consecutive contest because of left knee soreness. However, with Patrick Beverley, Ayo Dosunmu, and Alex Caruso in the equation, Dragic's absence won't mean much to fantasy managers.

Goran Dragic Misses Saturday's Practice
2 years agoChicago Bulls guard Goran Dragic (knee) was unable to suit up for practice on Saturday. The veteran guard has missed three straight games, including two games before the All-Star break. That being said, Dragic could be limited if he does end up suiting up for Sunday's matchup versus the Washington Wizards. Honestly, it might be tough for Dragic to carve out a role for himself with Patrick Beverley on the team now. Both Ayo Dosunmu and Beverley will absorb a majority of the point guard minutes. That being said, Dragic can be left on the waiver wire regardless of his health.
