Gleyber Torres Spiked In Thumb
6 years agoNew York Yankees second baseman Gleyber Torres (thumb) was spiked in the left thumb in the game on Wednesday, and it opened up a small cut. Manager Aaron Boone doesn't think the injury is serious, though. The Rookie of the Year candidate had two singles and a strikeout in four plate appearances in the loss to the White Sox. It appears the phenom will be fine, but make sure to check the lineups on Thursday to make sure he's in there.
