6 years agoNew York Yankees second baseman Gleyber Torres will be batting in the fourth spot Saturday against Chris Sale. According to Moses Massena, "he is the youngest Yankee to start in the cleanup spot (21 yrs, 199 days) since Mickey Mantle in 1953." Putting the youngster in that spot speaks volumes about the confidence the Yankees have in Torres, and for good reason. He is batting .345 with an OPS of 1.038 against lefties. Torres will go against another lefty on Sunday in David Price.--Aaron
