6 years agoNew York Yankees infielder Giovanny Urshela (knee) left the game early on Wednesday after fouling a ball off his left knee. However, X-rays came back negative and he was diagnosed with a left knee contusion. Consider him day-to-day for now. Urshela was hitless in three plate appearances on Wednesday, but he's still hitting an impressive .346 with eight doubles, two homers and nine RBI in 88 plate appearances and the Yankees probably want to keep his hot bat in the lineup if they can with Miguel Andujar seeing time at designated hitter. It wouldn't be a surprise to see Urshela sit out a few days, though.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
