Giovanny Urshela Drives In Two As Yankees Get Blown Out
5 years agoWhile the Yankees suffered a rare demolition at the hands of the Cleveland Indians Thursday night, infielder Giovanny Urshela remained hot. The 27-year-old recorded two hits and drove in two runs in a 19-5 defeat. Urshela now has 66 RBI and 113 hits, both third, while his .337 average is just one percentage point behind fellow infielder DJ LeMahieu. Of course, the Colombian native is making the most of his current situation, as Luke Voit and Edwin Encarnacion's returns would mean a drop in playing time for him. Both could return next month, just before the postseason gets underway.
