Giovanny Urshela Drills Game-Tying Home Run
6 years agoThe New York Yankees overcame a three-run deficit in the ninth inning Tuesday night after being ignited by their starting third baseman. Even after Miguel Andujar has returned, Giovanny Urshela has imposed his will and has continued to see regular playing time. Tuesday night from the seventh spot, he recorded two hits, including a clutch two-run home run to tie the game in the ninth. The Yankees would eventually win, but Urshela's hit was the catalyst for the comeback. The Colombian is now batting .360 as he continues to be one of the biggest surprises of the major league season.
