6 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Shaun Anderson, who is the team's seventh overall prospect and who played in the Futures Game on Sunday, will be called up from Double-A Richmond to Triple-A Sacramento. Anderson got the win for Team USA in the Futures Game after giving up a run in an inning of work. He was sporting a 3.45 ERA with 93 strikeouts and 22 walks in 94 innings at Double-A this year. The right-hander is the most advanced of the team's pitching prospects and could see time in the big leagues later this year, but he's more of an option for the rotation for 2019.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
