Giants Not Expected To Fire Brian Daboll, Joe Schoen
4 weeks agoNew York Giants co-owner John Mara said on Wednesday that there will not be any changes during the regular season with the team and he doesn't expect any changes to happen during the offseason, either. While Mara and the rest of the Giants' front-office decision-makers could always change their minds later in the year, right now it appears that head coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen will keep their jobs. "Obviously we're all very disappointed with where we are right now. But I'm gonna say one thing: we are not making any changes this season. And I do not anticipate making any changes in the offseason, either," Mara said. The G-Men are 2-5 and in last place in the NFC East as they head into a Week 8 clash against the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road on Monday Night Football. The organization is on its way to their eighth losing season in the last nine years and the 10th in the last 12 years.
