5 years agoThe San Francisco Giants are calling up infield prospect Mauricio Dubon from the minors on Tuesday, according to sources. San Fran's No. 8 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, came over from the Brewers in the trade that involved pitcher Drew Pomeranz in July. The 25-year-old from Honduras has hit an impressive .302/.345/.477 with 20 home runs, 56 RBI and 10 stolen bases in 123 games at the Triple-A level in the Pacific Coast League this year. His above-average speed and ability to barrel the ball up to all fields gives him a high ceiling at the major league level. It remains to be seen how much playing time he'll get, but if he's playing regularly he should have some appeal in deep mixed and NL-only leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
