6 years agoSan Francisco Giants president of baseball operations Farhan Zaidi said the team and free-agent outfielder Bryce Harper have mutual interest in each other after they met with the superstar in his hometown of Las Vegas earlier this week. "You don't make a trip out there to meet with a player just for show," Zaidi said. The Giants have the financial resources to lure Harper to the west coast, but Zaidi wouldn't say if they made a formal offer. With Harper's asking price not being met, other teams are jumping in as spring training approaches. San Fran wouldn't be the best landing spot for Harper, but he's still a top-20 fantasy player overall despite a down year in 2018.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
