San Francisco Chronicle's Susan Slusser reported Tuesday that the San Francisco Giants remain in the hunt for free-agent starting pitcher Blake Snell, and that the possibility of a deal is "50-50." No further details were mentioned. The team's rotation is already short-handed to begin the season, with Alex Cobb (hip) and Robbie Ray (elbow) on the injured list and several other potential starters dealing with injuries. Snell has had an injury history in the past, but he was healthy enough to win the National League Cy Young award last season and would provide a boost to the team to start the season, and even after some of their mainstays return.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
