6 years agoThe San Francisco Giants and St. Louis Cardinals struck a deal Thursday with the west-coast club acquiring catcher Francisco Pena for cash considerations. The 29-year-old has seen professional action with three different clubs, playing in 58 games for the Cardinals last season. The Giants recently promoted veteran Stephen Vogt from Triple-A Sacramento, likely meaning Pena will replace him at that level. This season, Pena was batting .333 in six games with Triple-A Memphis.--RDelgado
