Giannis Antetokounmpo Shines In Overtime Loss
6 years agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo put together a brilliant display of basketball in the team's 128-126 road overtime loss. Antetokounmpo scored 27 points on 11-for-19 shooting and added in 18 rebounds, four assists, five steals, two blocks and six turnovers. The 6-foot-11 star did have a poor game from the free throw line, going 5-for-11 from the stripe, but his ability to stuff the stat sheet is virtually unparalleled in the NBA. Antetokounmpo is averaging a career-high 4.8 turnovers per contest, but it is something you will have to live with when he also has a 32.8 percent usage rate, the third highest total in the league. Antetokounmpo is a better points league player because of his poor three-point shooting and turnover rate, but he is a top-10 player in any setting you can dream up and could rival number one overall production in a points league.
