Giannis Antetokounmpo Has Another Big Night
6 years agoMilwaukee Bucks power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo posted another double-double in the team’s win over the New York Knicks. Antetokounmpo put up a team-high 29 shots, but only three from deep, scoring 31 points on the night. The Freak grabbed 15 rebounds, but more impressively nine of those came off the offensive glass. He rounded out his stat sheet with four assist and two blocks, while limiting his turnovers to three. Antetokounmpo became only the third player since the NBA-ABA merger to start his season with 25 points and 15 rebounds in the first three games. Coach Budenholzer’s offense seems to have taken the stress off of the Bucks all-star player allowing him to play without thinking as much compared to last season. The Bucks will need Antetokounmpo to have a big night Wednesday when the face the 76ers.
