Giancarlo Stanton Clobbers 15th Homer
3 years agoNew York Yankees designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton obliterated his 15th home run of the season in Tuesday's blowout win over the Seattle Mariners. Stanton's three-run shot in the first inning was an absolute blast, leaving the bat at 115.8 MPH and traveling 434 feet. The slugger hadn't homered in five games, so it was a welcome sight to see him leave the yard, particularly in a Yankee blowout. Stanton is slashing .270/.367/.494 with 15 homers, 42 RBI, and 29 runs scored and should continue to deliver strong value for fantasy managers in the second half. Considering his .940 career OPS in the second half of seasons, fantasy managers should perhaps expect even better numbers the rest of the way.
