Giancarlo Stanton Blasts Two Homers
1 year agoNew York Yankees designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton put together a show during Saturday's game against the Chicago Cubs. The 33-year-old blasted a 447-foot homer into the third deck during the opening frame. After that, Stanton took reliever Michael Rucker deep for a two-run shot in the fifth inning. This marked Stanton's first multi-homer game since May 12, 2022. The veteran slugger is now up to nine home runs on the year as he continues to struggle with the bat. Hopefully this is a sign of good things to come for Stanton.
