Geronimo Allison Placed On Injured Reserve
6 years agoThe Green Bay Packers placed wide receiver Geronimo Allison (groin) on Injured Reserve on Tuesday, officially ending his season. The team also released safety Jermaine Whitehead. This could mean that Allison will need to go under the knife and undergo core muscle surgery. The 24-year-old will finish the year with 20 catches on 30 targets for 303 yards and two touchdowns. Marquez Valdes-Scantling is the team's deep threat and is basically the No. 2 behind Davante Adams moving forward. MVS should now be owned in all leagues and has upside as a WR3. Fellow rookie Equanimeous St. Brown should also see a more consistent role moving forward, but he'll be fighting for targets with Randall Cobb.
