6 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Gerardo Parra has a cut on his lip but is otherwise fine and will be available on Tuesday after being hit in the face by a pitch in the loss to the Padres on Monday night. He was hitless in his lone plate appearance on the night and has just six hits in 34 plate appearances (.200) on the year with two RBI. The veteran Parra is just outfield depth for the Giants and is merely a DFS and NL-only option in the right matchups. It doesn't look like he'll miss any time.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
