George Springer To Be Back Soon
6 years agoHouston Astros outfielder George Springer (thumb), who is dealing with a sprain on the first knuckle of his thumb, is dealing with a minor injury. "They think he may even beat the timeline of 10 days," manager A.J. Hinch said. That's great news for his fantasy owners and the Astros, especially with Carlos Correa and Jose Altuve still out. Springer has had a bit of a down year by hitting only .250/.335/.436, but he's still a must-start with his 19 homers, 58 RBI and six steals. Tony Kemp could see a short-term boost at the top of the order with Springer out.
